In this role, you'll expand relationships with existing customers, present new product offerings in the flooring transitions category, and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. This external sales position is perfect for a proactive, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to travel extensively (up to 70%) to build strong, lasting business partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deepen relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Present, promote, and educate customers on new and existing product lines to meet their evolving needs.
- Travel extensively (up to 50%) to meet customers at their locations, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.
- Identify new sales opportunities within assigned accounts and territory to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and product management, to deliver customized solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer interactions, and progress reports in the CRM system.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing questions, concerns, and issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and product innovations to maintain a strong market position.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in flooring, building materials, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to leverage social media for lead generation and contact discovery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
- Ability to lift and move 25lbs without accommodation & up to 50lbs.
