What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Store Assembly Specialist position at M&C Assemblies Inc?
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable individuals (with previous bicycle assembly experience) to join our team in our retail client locations! As an Assembly Specialist, you will receive training on the assembly of a wide range of products, with the primary focus being bicycle assemblies. You will also prepare each location for optimal sales performance by ensuring products are assembled accurately, safely, and on time.
Requirements: (resume is required)
- You must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift 25 lbs.
- You must be able to pass a background and MVR check.
- You must have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- You must have reliable transportation and be able to check in before 8am.
- You must have a smartphone with a working camera, for invoicing purposes.
- You must have your own bicycle tools: 3/8 Drive Allen (hex) sockets / keys, torque wrench, pedal wrench, diagonal cutting pliers, screwdrivers, bike stand, air compressor, floor pump and tire pressure gauge. (or equivalent)
Compensation:
- This is a W2 (employee) performance-based position, with the opportunity for company health benefits after 6 months and PTO after 4 months if you average at least 30 hours per week.
- Flat commission rate of 51% per item assembled.
Availability:
Hours will vary depending on client’s needs but could start as early as 6am and last as late as 7pm Monday through Friday.
Pay: $300.00 - $800.00 per week
