Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as the Cherry picker, Sit down , Stand up and Stand up Reach
Shift : 8am-5pm MONDAY-FRIDAY (OVERTIME AS NEEDED) $18/hr
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Pick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping requests accurately
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and stacking of goods
- Assist with order picking tasks, including
picker operations, to support inventory management - Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols for materials handling
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks in a warehouse or construction setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and materials handling procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking techniques
