Job Summary
The Chief Inspector is responsible for overseeing all inspection functions, maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring airworthiness of company aircraft, and supervising maintenance quality standards. This individual will work closely with the Director of Maintenance, FAA representatives, and internal teams to support safe, reliable operations.
Duties
· Oversee and manage the inspection program for all aircraft operating under Part 135.
· Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company manuals, and industry standards.
· Maintain aircraft records, logbooks, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
· Supervise and evaluate maintenance personnel involved in inspection duties.
· Coordinate with FAA inspectors and represent the company during audits and conformity inspections.
· Ensure timely corrective actions for discrepancies and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
· Support the development and revision of maintenance and inspection procedures.
· Regularly commute to and work onsite at our Centennial-area offices and hangar.
Requirements
- · Must hold a valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
· Extensive knowledge of FAA Part 135 regulations, inspection procedures, and documentation requirements.
· A&P license with strong inspection and maintenance background.
· Ability to commute regularly to Englewood/Centennial, CO.
· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· HS-125 (Hawker) experience is strongly preferred.
· Previous experience as a Chief Inspector or in a senior inspection role with a Part 135 operator.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
