What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Driver position at M. Abraham Floor Covering?
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
· Assist in the Loading and Unloading of delivery trucks
· Perform site deliveries (Delivery range will vary from day to day)
· Coordinate with on-site contractors/installers to ensure materials being delivered are in a safe, accessible area without impeding current work
· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
· Maintain vehicles – clean out before & after delivery, maintain fluids (oil, washer fluid)
· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness
· Assist installers with basic construction demolition and installation if needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable
· Must have a high level of integrity, ethics, and reliability
· Must be able to frequently lift heavy materials (100 lbs)
Preferred Experience:
- Forklift experience
- Capable of driving up 26’ box truck
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
