Nashville, TN Full Time
POSTED ON 12/30/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/29/2026

M&A Talent Partners has been retained by a rapidly expanding, multi state home and community based services (HCBS) platform to identify a Director of Business Development (M&A) to help lead its inorganic growth strategy through acquisitions, affiliations, and strategic partnerships.

The platform is well capitalized and structurally built to execute acquisitions, with committed financial backing, experienced executive leadership, and the operational infrastructure required to scale responsibly. This is not a speculative build. This is an execution focused growth mandate.

This role reports directly to the CEO. Remote is acceptable, with travel as needed across priority geographies. Preference for individuals located or willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN region (not required).

🧭 About the Role

The Director of Business Development will lead sourcing and execution of acquisitions and partnerships from initial outreach through close and integration. This individual will serve as a primary external representative of the platform to founder owned agencies and will work closely with executive leadership, operations, finance, clinical, and compliance teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

This is a true builder role with visibility, ownership, and direct impact on platform growth.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute acquisitions, affiliations, and aqui novo partnerships

  • Lead negotiation of LOIs, purchase agreements, and transaction documentation
  • Develop market maps, target lists, and sourcing strategies across priority regions
  • Perform valuation, modeling, financial review, and deal structuring
  • Coordinate cross functional diligence across operations, clinical, HR, finance, compliance, and IT
  • Support integration planning and post close execution

  • Entrepreneurial, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast growth environment
  • Clear communicator across executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Experience within HCBS, I DD, or adjacent post acute or behavioral healthcare is strongly preferred.
