As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist journeyman and foreman carpenters in the completion of their tasks while learning the trade.
- Set up trailers
- Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex’s, per plan
- Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
- Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevations
- The unloading, handling, stockpiling, and erecting of all pre-fabricated materials
- Concrete and rough carpentry
- Hand set Walls
- Footings
- Gang Wall Forms
- Structural Concrete Decks
- In wall and roof blocking
- Finish Carpentry, including doors, frames, and hardware
- All other duties as assigned

- Must be able to operate equipment such as: table saw, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection equipment, rigging and form systems
- Strong teamwork orientation
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Detail orientation
Education
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Enrolled in apprenticeship program
- Previous experience on a construction site is preferred but not required
