Modeling Engineer - Principal
This is an engineering position that is available on theCorporate R&D team. The individualwill be responsible for developing Process Design Kits (PDK) and device modelsto assist product design across the breadth of MACOM's product portfolio -GaAs, GaN and Si based semiconductor ICsand modules. The individual will also assume supervisory responsibility for themodeling test lab. Training and career growth opportunities will be provided.

Modeling Engineer - Principal
This is an engineering position that is available on theCorporate R&D team. Specific Responsibilities:
- Development of active device models for GaAs, GaN, and Sibased FET and diode devices
- Creation and maintenance of Process Design Kits for a rangeof semiconductor processes, for both internal and external fabs
- Supervisory responsibility of the modeling test lab,ensuring quality measurements from the lab team and managing the flow of testwork in the lab
- Optimization of device design and layout to improveperformance
- Creation and maintenance of Assura DRC/LVS decks
- Software development as needed to automate electrical testfor device characterization and model extraction
Qualifications / Skills:
- BS or MS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 7-10 years relevant experience
- Understanding of electronic device modeling (including someof circuit based, TCAD, EM, and thermal simulation)
- Experience in development of Process Design Kits in KeysightADS and/or Cadence MWoffice
- RF/Microwave test expertise, including calibrationtechniques, S-parameters, load pull, 2-tone, and pulsed measurements
- Understanding of semiconductor devices, IC manufacturing,and circuit design
- Programming expertise, preferably in Python, Linux shell,and scripting
