Description:
The SharePoint Administrator/Developer will support, maintain, and enhance SharePoint environments with a focus on SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Subscription Edition. This role involves administering SharePoint, performing environment upgrades and patching, and supporting full lifecycle migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Subscription Edition. The Administrator/Developer will also develop custom solutions using modern SharePoint tools, including SPFx, Power Automate, and Power Platform components. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting large enterprise user bases, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining a stable, secure SharePoint environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including farm configuration, site administration, service applications, and security management
- Support migration efforts from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Subscription Edition, including planning, testing, execution, and post‑migration validation
- Perform regular SharePoint environment maintenance, including patching, upgrades, health checks, and performance optimization
- Develop and customize SharePoint solutions using SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Power Platform tools
- Build and support workflows, forms, and automations to streamline enterprise processes and improve user experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint‑related issues, including access problems, workflow failures, customization errors, and performance concerns
- Collaborate with enterprise users and teams to gather requirements, provide support, and deliver high‑quality SharePoint solutions
- Create documentation for system configurations, customizations, maintenance processes, and user guidance
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and best practices in SharePoint configuration and development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience administering SharePoint environments
- Proven experience supporting migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Subscription Edition
- Experience with SharePoint development and customization, including SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Power Platform tools
- Knowledge of SharePoint patching, upgrades, and environment maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with supporting enterprise‑level user bases and troubleshooting SharePoint issues
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non‑technical teams
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Perm Resident
