What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Sales Manager position at Lyzr AI?
Enterprise Sales Manager (Enterprise AE) New York / Jersey City (also open to Chicago, Austin, Dallas, LA, San Francisco) | Hybrid
The short version
We are hiring enterprise AEs to sell the agent infrastructure layer that the largest organizations in the world are standing up right now. Base is $140K to $200K depending on experience, with 10% commission on year-one product license and no cap. One of our current enterprise AEs is on track to clear $500K in incentives this year. The category is hot, the logos are real and in production, and the pipeline is moving.
The proof, stated plainly
- Our single largest customer is the US government.
- Fortune 500s including Publicis, Verifone, WTW, and Crown Castle are using Lyzr to build agents for internal automation, in production, not in pilots.
- Lyzr is Series A funded, and Accenture has invested in us twice in the last six months.
You will not spend a year educating the market or fighting for credibility. You will walk into active demand with reference logos most reps only dream of carrying into a room.
Why this role, why now
Every large enterprise has moved past "should we use AI" into "how do we run AI in production at scale, under our governance, on our data." That is exactly what Lyzr does. We are the control plane for enterprise AI agents, the infrastructure that lets organizations design, deploy, and expand a private AI workforce across functions rather than scattering a few disconnected copilots.
What you will own
You will run the full cycle for enterprise accounts, with three clear mandates:
- Build your target account list. You own your territory and your whitespace. You decide where to hunt.
- Nurture the pipeline. Run tailored discovery, build multi-threaded relationships across technical and executive stakeholders, and shape proposals with our product, solutions, and applied AI teams behind you.
- Convert the sale. Drive deals through negotiation and close, then expand. Our retention story is strong, so landing well sets up years of growth inside the account.
Day to day this means prospecting and qualifying high-potential accounts, building and managing a robust pipeline, delivering sharp presentations and demos, managing complex multi-stakeholder deals, overseeing post-sale adoption and expansion for strategic accounts, and feeding market and competitive insight back to product and leadership.
What you bring
We care more about a track record than a checklist, but the strongest candidates will have most of the following:
- A history of closing complex, full-cycle B2B enterprise deals and consistently hitting or beating quota.
- The ability to translate technical AI concepts into clear business value, and to tell a story that moves a room.
- Hands-on pipeline generation muscle: prospecting, outbound, and qualification, not just managing inbound.
- Strong account management and sales operations discipline: forecasting, CRM hygiene, and tight cross-functional coordination.
- Familiarity with SaaS, AI, or enterprise software, ideally selling to both technical and executive buyers.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and multi-stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical chops to build ROI models and run a data-driven cycle.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation and what is in it for you
- Base salary of $140K to $200K based on experience.
- 10% commission on year-one product license, uncapped.
- Realistic, proven upside: a current enterprise AE is tracking to $500K in incentives this year.
- Just 90-day clawback, but no clawback post that. And you get kicker for multi-year deals.
- Top-performing account managers earn an additional equity allocation after six months. Your results compound.
- Hybrid flexibility, based in New York or Jersey City, or another major hub (Chicago, Austin, Dallas, LA, San Francisco).
- The backing of a product, solutions, and applied AI delivery team built to help you win, not just hand you a quota.
