We are seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist to take ownership of a designated Accounts Receivable portfolio of Mid-Market and Enterprise B2B clients. The role requires a results-driven mindset to analyze and proactively follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable balances. Responsibilities include resolving customer billing inquiries, partnering cross-functionally to clear disputes, and supporting cash application efforts. You'll Get To
- Analyze AR Aging reports and Collections portal to prioritize collection efforts
- Research to identify issues attributing to account delinquency and resolve them by working with the customer as well as internal groups
- Execute consistent outreach (e.g. calls, emails) in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations
- Identify high-risk accounts that need to be discussed with management
- Collect and process customer payments accurately in accordance with payment due dates
- Maintain accurate documentation of collections activity and customer statuses in the collection systems daily
- Conduct invoice to contract analysis to provide clear explanations to clients
- Contribute to the team’s DSO and Cash Collections goals to strengthen cash flow
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 4 years of B2B Collections experience in a fast-paced environment, including interactions with Mid-Market and Enterprise client bases
- Experience in Software-as-Service or Subscription-Based model a plus
- Strong Communication, Problem Solving, and Analytical skills required
- Detail-orientated and Task-driven
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a constantly evolving environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
