What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOST position at LYRIC KITCHEN BAR?
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
- Manage/Take reservations and waitlists using Open table
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate estimated wait times to guests in a friendly and accurate manner
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide information about the restaurant (hours, menu, directions, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area
- Monitor guest satisfaction and assist in resolving any issues when appropriate
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Place togo orders and room service orders
Minimum Qualifications: Must be available for evening shifts
Shift Hours: Morning/Afternoon/evening shifts, weekends included
