Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct inspections of building systems to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment parts, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring proper installation of equipment.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports for all performed work.
- Lead or assist with training team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technology, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members during maintenance tasks or emergency repairs.
