Finance Manager - Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions at one of our Operating Companies headquartered out of Wyndham, Virginia. This pivotal role will oversee daily financial operations, manage key accounting processes, and collaborate with the U.S.-based accounting team on reporting and analysis. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity while providing significant exposure to the organization's operations and growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, audit processes, and month-end close, in compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards. 
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, and Sales and Use Tax.
• Participate in and manage accounting operations, systems, and processes, setting and attaining goals while managing special projects.
• Maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare and oversee financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirements.
• Take an integral role in customer billing processes, including monthly and annual price changes, billing-related incentives, and commissions.
• Liaise with key business partners, including banks, landlords, vendors, and suppliers.
• Provide leadership as both an individual contributor and project leader within a high growth and entrepreneurial environment.
• Interface with state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with tax regulations and employment-related matters. 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Senior, Lead, or Management position within the Accounting or Finance department.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience managing various accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proven problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space is a plus.

This role will operate on an in-office basis out the Wyndham VA office and will host a base compensation of $75,000-$85,000 per year. At this time, we are not offering relocation and will prioritize candidates located near Wyndham, VA.
