Your work as an Accountant will include the following duties:
- Process Canadian exchange rate submissions, non-automated check payments, and vendor reimbursements.
- Calculate and submit sales tax payments across multiple states, handle SPLA reports and payments, and manage ACH drafts for payments and reimbursements.
- Maintain client purchase and asset tracking records, record vendor invoices, and prepare/send client invoices via QuickBooks.
- Enter accounting data in Business Central, perform month-end reconciliations, respond to audit requests, and conduct monthly cash sweep calculations with corresponding ACH transfers.
- Order technology hardware (e.g., laptops, desktops, iPads, MacBooks) from vendors like Dell and Apple, and procure office/IT supplies from platforms such as Amazon and 1Stop.com
- Obtain quotes, handle warranty extensions for servers and firewalls, and manage deal registrations for large-scale purchases.
- Maintain shipping logs (e.g., FedEx) and update related cost summaries.
- Monitor the billing inbox, respond to client and vendor inquiries, and manage physical mail and bill payments.
- Provide pricing quotes for hardware/software requests and ensure timely follow-up.
- Submit monthly payroll, calculate 401(k) contributions, and manage employee benefits eligibility and enrollment.
- Enter new hire data into ADP and Employee Navigator, and coordinate in-office tasks/orders (as needed).
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent work experience acceptable.
- 5 years of proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Business Central.
- Familiar with payroll and benefits platforms, including ADP and Employee Navigator.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
