Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team for our properties located in Shelton, Orange and Seymour (all locations are part of the job). This role is essential to maintaining the quality, safety, and functionality of our properties.

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, painting, and general property upkeep. A strong commitment to responding to work orders promptly and providing excellent service to tenants is required.

This position will primarily service properties located in Orange, Seymour, and Shelton. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between these areas. Gas compensation may be provided and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing (e.g., unclogging drains, fixing leaks), electrical repairs (e.g., replacing outlets, fixing light fixtures), and painting.
• Work Order Management: Respond to tenant work orders in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues, and ensure repairs are completed to satisfaction.
• Property Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs, including cleaning common areas and ensuring building systems are in working order.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Emergency Repairs: Be available for on-call emergencies as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
