Senior Graphic Designer

Overview

Are you ready to help shape the future by working with startups and VC funds? We’re looking for a star with a brand-oriented and refined graphic design ability to bring our clients’ ideas to life. Your talent and creativity will be used for visual storytelling via presentation design, brand identity systems and all types of branded assets for our 100 clients. 

You’ll be responsible for owning the design process from start to finish and upholding our high design and service standards. You’ll be the head of the design department and report directly to our founder. You’ll also be supported by a talented and kind junior designer. Your work will be instrumental in pushing forward the business goals of tech startups, VC funds and billion dollar enterprises.

About us

We launch and grow companies through the combination of smart business building and design. We’ve done this from scratch for clients like Chelsea Clinton, Bain Capital Ventures Crypto and Atlas Financial, resulting in over $10 billion capital raised to drive growth. We want our clients to walk out of our engagements feeling supported, equipped and excited about their future success.

Our ideal candidate has the following skills

Design

• 4-10 years graphic design experience, including ~2 years in a creative or branding agency and a compelling portfolio
• Visual communicator, building brands from the ground up and developing compelling visual identities that are rooted in strategy and our client’s business needs
• Can create all visual elements ranging from logos, icons and typefaces to infographics, art direction, presentations and print collateral
• Has a clean aesthetic, and a sharp eye for layout, color, and typography
• Experience translating limited brand identity into fully realized design, with typography, and designing infographics
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Illustrator working with vector graphics); basic knowledge of Keynote and PPT or keen/excited to learn
• BSc/BA in Design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and visual cohesion across all design deliverables

Workplace

• You’re a strong communicator and strategic thinker, and understand how to design visuals that make content more compelling
• You have incredible attention to detail as you’ll work directly with C-suite clients with minimal oversight 
• Can run a process from brainstorming initial concepts through final production, as you’ll work closely with our clients to create, maintain and elevate their brand aesthetic across all touchpoints
• Creative problem-solver and task-master, able to manage your time and meet competing deadlines, willing to face design challenges big and small with equal effort and flourish in a fast-paced remote environment
• Easy communicator with both colleagues and clients that speaks with passion and conviction about their work but is also open to feedback
• Excited by and plugged into the developments in the field of design: keeping up with the world of branding, and with what’s new and interesting in the creative world in general; eager to explore, experiment, and try new things
• Mentor and improve the design output of more junior designers

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with web design (Webflow)
• Experience with AI image generation
• Excitement for presentation design, data visualization, and visual storytelling

This is a full-time, fully remote position although we would love to get together IRL in NYC.

Compensation $80,000-$110,000 benefits and depends on experience and location.
