We are partnering with the Hayward headquarters of a growing commercial services business to hire a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant for the office. This position starts out on a temporary basis with the potential to go full-time.Position: Administrator Clerical ReceptionistLocation: HaywardSummary/ObjectiveThe Clerical Administrator position will handle various responsibilities from the service and administration departments. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Essential Functions:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.• Processes customer applications and similar paperwork.• Answers, screens, and directs calls on multi-line phone system in a courteous and professional manner; takesmessages and/or forwards telephone calls to appropriate employee, voice mail, or pager.• Meets and greets all visitors; determines their needs and directs them to the appropriate employee/locations.• Composes and types of routine correspondence as required.• Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as required.• Organizes and maintains file system, files correspondence and other records.• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.• Strong people and customer service skills in a professional setting• Strong Microsoft skills and knowledge.• Ability to work independently and efficiently and perform with minimal supervision.• Ability to apply knowledge to company’s and customer’s current and future needs.• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.• A valid driver's license is required. Must be insurable with no major infractions.
