This is a temp to hire opportunity. The hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm.We are partnering with an organization that needs a long-term temporary Paycom HRIS administrator. You will serve as one of the primary administrators for our HRIS system (Paycom), ensuring that employee records are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential, while also training managers, employees, and the People Operations team on system usage. You will develop People Operations metrics and regular reports to support decision-making within the organization. Partnering closely with our People Operations Manager, you will help administer a broad range of employee benefits and maintain regular communication with payroll. You will also work at the direction of the People Operations Manager to help ensure the organization stays compliant with relevant government regulations, while supporting the organization’s commitment to building an inclusive and equitable culture.This job might be for you if:You have extensive experience in Paycom ATS (full cycle hiring in Paycom), Paycom Benefits administration and Core Paycom HRIS experienceYou enjoy managing a wide variety of human resources tasks and are comfortable with thinking analytically, strategically and administratively to deliver smooth and efficient business operations.You are detailed oriented, proactive, process driven, and can see the big pictureYou have strong verbal and written communication skills, prefer to work in acollaborative manner as much as possibleYou have a strong experience and enjoy various HR functions, including benefits andleaves of absence administration, HR systems, reporting and metrics, HR compliance, Talent Acquisition and project managementDuties and Responsibilities:· Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS system (Paycom), ensuring accuracy and troubleshooting issues for employees.· Support administering and maintaining benefits programs, including enrollment, open enrollment, and responding to employee inquiries.· Oversee the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, andcoordinating Day 1 orientation for new hires.· Develop and deliver reports to track key HR metrics and ensure compliance withgovernment regulations, including EEOC reporting.· Ensure seamless integration between HRIS and payroll, collaborating closely withFinance to maintain accuracy.· Benefits and Leave Administration· Coordinate benefit enrollment for new and existing employees, including annual open enrollment.· Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and resolve any discrepancies withproviders.· Support administering and monitoring leaves of absence, and unemployment insurance.· HR Compliance and Reporting· Work at the direction of the People Operations Manager to help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including providing reports to meet audit requirements.· Support performance and compensation management processes, includingimplementing periodic changes and updates in the HRIS system.· Serve as the backup Designated Employer Representative (DER) for DOT compliance and screening requirements.· Employee Engagement Lifecycle Management· Regularly update and maintain the HR intranet site, enabling employees and managers to use self-service tools effectively.· Collaborate with HR leadership to continuously improve processes such as onboarding, employee training, and performance management.· Post job ads on internal and external boards· Guide managers through the hiring process, including sourcing and recruiting candidates when needed.The ideal candidate will possess the following professional qualifications:· At least 4 years’ experience in HR or working knowledge of basic HR functions, including benefits administration, leaves of absence, HR systems, Talent Acquisition, HR metrics and employment law (particularly wage and hour)· Experience implementing HR policies and practices from a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion perspective strongly preferred· Experience administering workers compensation and leaves of absences andresponding to unemployment claims· Experience administering or collaborating closely with payroll strongly desired· Knowledge of laws pertaining to leaves of absences, worker’s compensation processes, wage and hour and CA employer compliance· Detail oriented and highly organized· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.· Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with a focus on creating positive, supportive experiences for employees. Outstanding and demonstrable computer skills including experience administering and HRIS system and strong knowledge of Excel· An additional 2-4 years of HR experience and/or a combination of HR credential (PHR, SPHR) and/or college degree in HR or related fieldYou have extensive experience in Paycom ATS (full cycle hiring in Paycom), Paycom Benefits administration and Core Paycom HRIS experience
Salary : $35 - $37
