Commercial Insurance Senior Account Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the strategic relationship manager for mid-market and large commercial insurance clients including Captive accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer support by building relationships with clients, supporting renewal efforts together with the Risk Advisor, and corresponding to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Determine the renewal strategy, correspond with underwriters, evaluate quotes and prepare proposals and other documents to provide to clients.
• Provide coverage recommendations.
• Support clients in managing risk associated with commercial insurance coverages.
• Exhibit superior technical knowledge.
• Conduct in-person and remote meetings.
• Oversee and delegate work to the Account Managers and other internal and external resources.
• Maintain policy information in our agency management system.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
• Work a full-time ‘hybrid’ schedule with 2 to 4 days per week on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, preferably in a related field of study.
• 5 years’ experience in Property & Casualty service for mid-market and large accounts is required.
• Experience in construction/engineering account management is preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

TECHNOLOGY 

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience is required. 
• Applied EPIC or other agency management software experience is preferred but not required.
