Exceptional Child Instructional Aide
Immediate Supervisor: Teacher, Principal, Director of Special Education
Job Qualifications: Minimum of 64 College Credit Hours
Specific Duties:
1. Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning experiences.
2. Perform clerical duties as directed by the teacher.
3. Assist students with special assignments/projects.
4. Assist with class work at the request of the teacher.
5. Provide substitute coverage in classrooms as needed.
6. Guide independent work, enrichment activities, and other remedial activities for students.
7. Check/grade assignments and assist with make-up work.
8. Maintain records of attendance and/or grades at the request of the teacher.
9. Assist with the physical and personal hygiene needs of students as outlined in the IEP or 504 plans.
10. Monitor students on the bus.
11. Maintain and submit accurate service logs for billable school-based health services provided for Medicaid eligible students.
12. Perform other duties assigned by the teacher, principal, director of special education, or superintendent.
Salary : $15 - $19
