This is a critical role that will oversee all aspects of HR for our growing team of delivery associates, dispatchers, fleet managers, and operations staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation, or similar high-volume hourly workforce environments and be comfortable in a fast-paced, operations-focused setting.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, and creating a culture that attracts and retains top talent for a ~100 person organization. Experience with the Amazon DSP ecosystem (Cortex portal) is highly preferred.Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a major plus).Autonomy: Proven ability to make high-judgment decisions regarding terminations and legal compliance without daily supervision. Experience building HR programs and policies from the ground up. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretionLocal Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, state wage and hour laws)Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce of 50–100 Delivery Associates and corporate employees.Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with flexibility for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend coverageAdditional InformationNote: Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) provide contracted delivery services to Amazon and are independent employers.
