Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated PRN/Part-Time EMTs to join our Day Shift team. This role is ideal for professionals looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact in patient care and transportation services.
As an EMT, you will provide emergency and non-emergency medical transportation while ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate, and professional care. Day shift team members play a critical role in supporting hospital discharges, scheduled transports, interfacility transfers, and emergency responses during peak daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with state regulations and company protocols
- Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance vehicles and equipment
- Perform patient assessments and complete accurate documentation
- Maintain ambulance cleanliness, organization, and readiness for deployment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, patients, families, and team members
- Follow all safety standards, policies, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications
Required
- Current State EMT Certification (or eligible for reciprocity)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
