Position Details And Duties
FULL-TIME POSITION: EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; ELEVEN (11) MONTHS PER YEAR.
Basic Function
The job of the Community Schools Case Manager (CS Case Manager) is done for the purposes of coordinating and supporting programs that address the learning barriers for students at school sites. The CS Case Manager will develop a system of support for students, families, and community members by connecting families with community agencies and local government to improve student outcomes. The CS Case Manager is responsible for implementing systems and procedures, as well as monitoring and implementing projects. The CS Case Manager will ensure the California Community Partnership Program (CCSPP) grant is implemented at the school level.
This job reports to DESIGNATED ADMINISTRATOR.

Examination Process
Please note that the District reserves the right to add, eliminate or adjust testing steps and/or information on the posting at any time during the position posting and testing process. The process may include, but is not limited to, further testing inclusive of on-the-job testing, recruitment and recruitment extensions, which may be for less than fifteen (15) days after the certification of an eligibility list. As a result, there may be adjustments if reasonable or necessary.
REVIEW PROCESS
If you would like to review your examination after receiving your test results notice, you must submit the "Examination Review Form" to Classified Personnel within seven (7) working days of the result notice date. You may obtain the "Examination Review Form" from the Classified Personnel department. Eligibility List Expiration
Candidates who are successful in all parts of the screening and examination process will be placed on an eligibility list. Typically, an eligibility list for a classification expires after one (1) year (Eligibility lists may be extended beyond one (1) year or expire sooner than one (1) year). Candidates on the expired eligibility list are no longer considered for positions within the classification. - Paid Holidays: Up to 14 holidays per year depending on months worked for all classified employees.
- Paid Vacation: Up to 24 vacation days per year for management-level classified employees. Vacation is prorated based on months worked per year (two days are earned per month worked).
- Health Benefits: For positions 20 hours or more per week the following benefits are provided by the District for classified employees: Health, Vision, Dental, and PERS (retirement).
- Paid Sick Leave: Every regular classified employee, probationary or permanent, can earn paid sick leave credit(s) based on one day for each month in which such employees are in a paid status with the District. Earned, but unused sick leave can accumulate without limit.
