Job Description:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as primary statistician and game day athletic communications contact for assigned sports (write press releases, conduct interviews, assistant with the in-game broadcast production, handle in-game statistics, etc).
- Work in conjunction with the Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Director to manage game day staff for assigned sports.
- Assist with special events as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong writing, editing, computer and oral communication skills.
- Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in Statcrew/NCAA Live Stats, Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Premier, as well as have some knowledge of HTML code.
- Digital photography experience a plus.
- Video editing and statistical software experience preferred.
- Night and weekend work required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in collegiate athletics communications preferred.
