What You’ll Do
- Lead Voice platform strategy, architecture, standards, and technology roadmap.
- Design highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise Voice solutions.
- Engineer and support Webex Calling, VoIP/SIP, Webex Contact Center, soft phones, hard phones, and voice gateways.
- Perform advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for complex escalations and major outages.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions.
- Partner with infrastructure, applications, data, and business teams on integrated solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical production issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or 7 years of progressive enterprise Voice experience.
- Deep expertise with Webex Calling, SIP/VoIP, and Webex Contact Center environments.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, IP, NAT, TCP/UDP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience designing and implementing complex multi-site Voice and Contact Center solutions.
- CCNP Collaboration or comparable professional certification preferred.
- Python, Ansible, or other automation/scripting experience is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
