What You'll Do
- Design and evaluate HVAC, plumbing, piping, drainage, and ventilation systems
- Conduct system assessments, condition reviews, and field investigations
- Develop retrofit and modernization recommendations for existing buildings
- Collaborate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Support energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and building performance initiatives
- Manage project scope, schedule, and client communications based on experience level
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Knowledge of applicable building and energy codes
- Experience with HVAC and building mechanical systems design and analysis
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation or path toward licensure is an asset
