Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials accurately in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Prepare and issue materials to production lines per kanban or pull systems.
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Operate and maintain basic handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
- Quality-check received goods and report discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with team to meet daily/weekly targets and provide status updates.
- Document and communicate issues affecting inventory or material flow to supervisor.
- Maintain clean, organized, and uncluttered storage areas.
- Support shipping duties: pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest efficiency gains.
- Hazardous material handling and safety compliance knowledge.
- Proficient in receiving, inspecting, and stocking materials with accuracy.
- Experience with cycle counts and ERP/MMIS inventory systems.
- Ability to issue materials to production via kanban or pull systems.
- Forklift and pallet jack operation with safety certification.
- Quality assurance skills to identify and report discrepancies.
- Strong teamwork with ability to provide status updates and meet targets.
- Basic shipping support: pick, pack, label, and dispatch orders.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to participate in process improvements.
- Organizational discipline to maintain clean, organized storage areas.
