Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Associate position located in Melville, NY. The Litigation Associate will manage a caseload of legal matters, including drafting and arguing motions, conducting in-depth legal research, preparing for and attending depositions, and representing clients in court. The role includes collaboration with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and ensure excellent representation for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in Litigation and Law
- Experience in drafting and arguing Motions
- Proficiency in Legal Research and case analysis
- Skilled in conducting effective Depositions and witness examinations
- Familiarity with Courts and judicial procedures
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Membership in the New York State Bar (required)
- 2-4 years of litigation experience is preferred
