Assistant Hospitality Manager

Job Summary:

Our bucolic Russian River Valley estate winery is looking for a well-rounded, highly-motivated Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our family-led team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, this new and exciting role will assist with planning, execution and reporting across all aspects of hospitality, while implementing processes to improve efficiencies and offer superior customer relations. A successful candidate will have an appreciation of customer service, eagerness to learn and passion for wine!

· Strong aptitude for learning new software programs, systems may include POS, CRM, Reservations, as well as online collaboration, project management and reporting tools

· Positive references with a track record for excellence in prior jobs, with at least 2 years of experience in customer service, client relations or hospitality

What We Expect

· Assistance with all aspects of Lynmar hospitality

· Timely and efficient completion of all tasks and activities

· Execution and pursuit of excellence in all guest experiences

· Support Tasting Room and other hospitality activities, proactively setting the team up for success

· Review and improve processes within the Tasting Room and beyond

· Maintain ongoing cleanliness of facilities and layouts, establishing a pristine and welcoming environment for all guests

· Perform the highest safety procedures daily, ensuring a sound work environment for staff and a safe environment for guests to visit

· Immediate reporting of any issues (guest, repair and maintenance, or safety) to Hospitality Manager

· Support Reservationist in coordinating guest visits to the estate

· Proactively ensure all outbound information is accurate and welcoming

· Assist with planning of Lynmar on the Road travel activities

· Assist with event preparations, execution and post-event recaps and reports

· Participation in regular trainings and engage in continuous opportunities for improvement of wine knowledge, food knowledge, sales and service skills

· Represent Lynmar in the broader wine community, through occasional outreach and events

Applicants must be able to work weekends and occasional evenings, be over 21 years old, able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand continuously for duration of shift, as needed. Being open to travel is a plus. They must also be pivotal in retaining our customers and creating new ambassadors who understand and appreciate the unique and exclusive elements of our estate, our story and our wine with continuous standout service.
