What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Maintenance Technician position at LYNMAR BUILDERS?
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team. As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for making carpentry repairs, minor plumbing repairs , and minor electrical repairs. The schedule for this role is Mon-Fri 7AM start time. On call schedule is Fri-Fri and is required every 5-6 weeks depending on number of technicians on payroll. Calls range from NJ, PA, DE, and MD. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL!!!
**Duties:**
- Installation and repairs of flooring
- Ceiling tile replacement
- Door repairs
- Demo, drywall, paint as needed
- Knowledge of hand tools and construction safety
- Operate commercial driving vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Provide assistance to minor plumbing issues such as clogged toilets, urinals
- Provide assistance to minor electrical calls such as light bulb changing
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in various settings such as residential, commercial, or industrial
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites and follow safety protocols
**Skills:**
- Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, and HVAC
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing different calls
- Construction site familiarity for efficient work execution
- Field service capabilities for emergency repairs
- Troubleshooting complex issues
**Certifications:**
- OSHA10
