Job Overview
The Production Technician is a key member of the manufacturing team, supporting production operations through the assembly, testing, and quality validation of XLynk suite products. This role performs a range of tasks across warehousing, production, and order fulfillment, with a continued focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. The Production Technician team member should bring a foundational level of hands-on experience in manufacturing electro-mechanical assemblies and play an important role in maintaining smooth production flow. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, and effective collaboration with colleagues across departments.
Responsibilities
- Hand assembly of a variety of sub-systems and components utilized in manufacturing Lynkwell’s XLynk suite products; assembly tasks are electro-mechanical in nature
- Ability to read, interpret and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions.
- Operation of manual hand tools and power tools as required in assembly and validation work.
- Operation of material handling equipment, including manual and electric power jacks
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving to diagnose system, sub-system, and ancillary component issues in the course of the manufacturing process
- Follow all environmental health and safety regulations during work; comply with all OSHA standards.
- Maintain proper housekeeping (5S) to promote a safe and efficient workplace
- Must professionally communicate and collaborate with other Lynkwell team members and supervisors.
- Ability to complete manufacturing documentation as required in the course of work
- Preparing merchandise for shipment
- Loading of trucks, and labeling of shipping information
- Receiving parts and other merchandise
- Order fulfillment for various production and research, and development departments
- Frequent lifting, bending, and pulling
- Perform other duties as assignedRequirements
- Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment confidently.
- Warehouse experience, including forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
