The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking a full-time 100% FTE School Nurse assigned to the Lyndon Town School, specializing in practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and lifelong achievement of students. School nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning. School nurses plan and prepare the school’s health related instruction and programming, create an environment of health and wellness, deliver nursing services and health and wellness classroom instruction. The school nurse provides school health services to students in order to integrate health and wellness knowledge and skills throughout the school and curriculum based on knowledge of pediatric, community health, emergency, and mental health nursing. The pay range for this position is $46,267-$89,467.
