Lyndon Institute is seeking to hire a full time Life Sciences Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This position will report directly to the Department Chair and Dean of Academics while working a 10-month academic schedule.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Qualified applicants should hold a BS or master’s degree in science or a related field and have several years of high school teaching experience.
- The ability to teach a range of science courses and experience with proficiency-focused curriculum and assessment are essential.
- Experience teaching biology, wildlife ecology, and sustainability is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Blackbaud, is beneficial.
- Licensure is valued but not required in an independent school setting.
- A demonstrated commitment to designing and facilitating engaging, hands-on laboratory and outdoor field experiences is critical, as is a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the broader school community.
Salary : $37,234 - $64,522
