Lyndon Institute is seeking to hire a full time Licensed Nursing Assistant for our upcoming academic year.
SUMMARY:
The LNA position will work in conjunction with the Health and Wellness Department and Special Education Department to support individual student(s) on an IEP. This position is scheduled to work approximately 6.75 per day when school is in session.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct medical treatment, mobility assistance and self care to students with special needs as required by their individualized healthcare plan under the direct supervision of the school’s registered nurse (RN).
- Provide data and will target goal-directive services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional and independent manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the RN, Director of Wellness or the Director of Special Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid LNA certificate
- Experience working with diabetes
- Must be energetic and enjoy working with children
- Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred but not required
Salary : $25 - $30
