What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sander - Concord, VT Location position at Lyndon Furniture?
Lyndon Furniture has been a producer of fine hardwood furniture for over 45 years in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our Concord, VT team! Woodworking/Sanding experience is preferred but not required. On the job training is provided.
Some responsibilities may include:
- Preparing surfaces for finishing via sanding and lighting
- Inspecting under light for product flaws or imperfections prior to finish stage
- Applying filler, putty, or other material, using brush, putty knife, and fingers to fill wood pores, holes, cracks, or other indentations
- Conveying necessary wood stock and materials from storage area to workstation(s)
- Cleaning or maintaining products, machines, and/or work areas
- Working collaboratively with other employees/departments as necessary

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
