Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including transmissions, axles, and other powertrain components.
- Utilize diagnostics to identify issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Operate hand tools, forklifts, and cranes safely to facilitate repairs.
- Collaborate with team members in a dealership setting to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the shop environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with wiring diagnostics
- Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely as part of the repair process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
