Join our GROWING Peds team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate care for children from infancy through adolescence, supporting both patients and their families at every stage of growth and development. Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments by collaborating with physicians to conduct physical examinations and evaluations in response to treatment.
- Administer medications and injections(vaccinations) accurately
- Assist with medical procedures
- Documenting using EMR (Electronic Medical Records); to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Supporting protocols obtaining specimen collection/processing and participate in diagnostic laboratory testing
Qualifications
- Valid VA state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CPR/BLS certification.
- Proven experience in fast-paced office setting
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as phlebotomy and triage
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and collaborating with
Pay: From $1.00 per hour
