Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support within our chiropractic office. You will assist in the daily operations, and ensure that patients receive the highest level of service while facilitating their journey towards wellness.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Verify insurance coverage, and perform insurance eligibility checks.
- Assist with billing procedures including medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), Medicare claims, and medical collection processes
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, provide information to patients regarding appointments or billing inquiries, and maintain excellent phone etiquette.
- Support clinic operations by coordinating appointment schedules, managing patient flow, and performing clerical tasks.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies.
- Manage scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure office is clean, organized, and well stocked with necessary supplies.
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Insurance knowledge highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
