About the Job:

A typical day for our lawn care technicians starts between 5:30 and 6:00 AM. We work Monday – Friday, and an occasional Saturday if needed. After getting the truck ready, the truck is typically on the road by 6-6:30 on the way to the job site. This division primarily sprays for ticks, mosquitos, broadleaf weeds, crabgrass and other pesticides along with fertilizing and lawn repairs!We typically treat up to 15 lawns a days depending on the size of the lawns. Our lawn technicians are paid through lunch. The job entails treating mostly residential lawns with our custom built spray trucks. Our spray technicians are trained to treat the lawns with a hose from the truck in a pattern to ensure even adequate coverage. We also use backpack sprayers to spot treat weeds if needed. This job is a lot of daily physical exercise. Some of our guys say to expect to walk 7 miles a day. If you love being outside and you want to get daily exercise, this will be a great job for you!

Lynch Landscaping started out fifteen years ago with two teenagers, a blazer, and a couple of lawns to care for. We now service all of central Maine, with a fleet of trucks and over 25 employees. Pay and Experience:

Pay is based off experience. Those that have basic licensing will be making between $20-$22 an hour, more licensing is more money ($22-$25 per hour). We start anyone with no experience off at $15.50 an hour, the more experience, the higher the starting pay will be. Lynch Landscaping offers time and a half for any overtime. Most of our employees are working 50-55 hours a week which means they’re making 10-15 hours of overtime. There is always an opportunity to work more hours and make more money. You can essentially make as much a week as you’d like.

Our spray technicians receive bonuses for each test that they pass for that division the bonus varies in price depending on what test they pass. Bonus pricing is typically between $200-$250 per test. Lynch will pay and set up tests for all employees wanting to take it.

We also have health insurance that we think kicks ass. We match up to $400 a month and you choose a plan that suits your budget.

We also have a career ladder that shows you exactly how to get more $$ per hour. It has several steps and is very achievable if you want to increase your hourly rate el quicko.

We are currently offering a sign on bonus for those with pesticide licenses! These are the pay outs for each license:

- Core $500.00

- Vegetative Management $500.00

- Roadside $500.00

- Flying & Biting $500.00

- Turf $1000.00

- Ornamentals $1000.00

- Structural $500.00

Bonuses will be paid out in two increments - first 1/2 after one month of employment, and the second half after three months!
