About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning multiple aspects of the business. You will provide coverage where it’s needed most. From making customer deliveries to supporting warehouse operations and learning logistics coordination.
No two days are exactly alike, and your flexibility helps keep our customers and operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Complete local final-mile deliveries throughout Maine.
Provide driver coverage during vacations, PTO, and other staffing needs.
Travel to our Auburn location as needed to support deliveries and warehouse operations.
Receive, inspect, stage, and process inbound and outbound products for delivery.
Assist with loading, unloading, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
Learn our routing and dispatch software to provide backup support for our Logistics Coordinator.
Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and delivery updates.
Deliver outstanding customer service while professionally representing MaineDelivery and Lynch Group.
Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and safe lifting practices.
Work collaboratively with teammates to support daily operational needs.
What We’re Looking For
Experience driving a 26-foot non-CDL straight truck.
Valid driver’s license (Class B license is a plus but not required).
Warehouse, logistics, dispatch, or transportation experience is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable learning new technology and routing software.
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry 70 pounds.
Willingness to travel to Auburn as business needs require.
Must be dependable, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed.
