Lyle Machinery Co. (“LMC”), headquartered in Richland, Mississippi, is a family-owned and operated heavy equipment dealer with over 60 years’ experience providing quality products, service, and parts support throughout MS, AL, LA, FL, and TX.
LMC currently is looking for a Product Support Sales Representative in our Gulfport, MS location, to bring unmatched service and parts support for new and existing customers through their exceptional performance backed by our devoted Lyle dependability!
Duties:
· Proactively sell parts and service using a consultative approach with customers to identify and manage customer equipment needs
· Prepare customer agreements, and quotes for repairs and present to customers
· Effectively communicate with Sales, Service and Parts to ensure customer satisfaction
· Provide product support to customers regarding parts, service, and preventative maintenance.
· Develop effective methods to maintain and enhance customer relations and perform dispute resolutions within the scope of LMC’s Mission Statement in a professional and timely manner
· Work closely with Parts and Service Departments to efficiently and proficiently complete work orders
· Review work orders for accuracy, and assist in management of parts, labor, and other repair charges
· Maintain up to date knowledge of new products and developments relevant to the equipment and customer trends
· Maintain LMC’s competitive advantage by appropriately managing the customers’ needs
· Other work-related functions as assigned by management
Requirements
· High School diploma/GED required
· 2 years of sales experience in related industries
· Clean MVR (driving) record
· Self-starter that takes initiative to start and complete tasks
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong computer skills
· Planning and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
· Equipment/mechanical knowledge
· 2 to 5 years parts/sales experience
