Our client in the Medford, Oregon area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 4 days per week. Candidates will work alongside an established team of orthopedic providers. Responsibilities will include seeing patients in clinic, assisting in surgery, inpatient rounds.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients in the office, assist in surgery as needed
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Educate patients and their family members
- Promote good health practices
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon state physician assistant license or ability to obtain
- Masters degree
- Previous experience in orthopedics is required
