The Prep Cook role is responsible for preparing fresh, flavorful, wellness-forward food that reflects LYFE Kitchen’s commitment to uncompromising hospitality, quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and assemble menu items according to LYFE Kitchen standards
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and organization at all times
- Support opening, peak service and closing duties
- Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams
Core Expectations
- Hospitality: Support the guest experience through cleanliness, quality, and reliability
- Sense of Urgency: Maintain pace with service demands while staying focused and accurate
- Health & Wellness: Uphold strict sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Teamwork: Provide dependable support to all team members and contribute to a positive culture
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or dining environment
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
- Food service certified within 30 days of hire
- Minimum age requirement of 17 years old
