Lydech, Inc. designs and manufactures specialty engineered non-woven filtration media, advanced technical materials, industrial thermal insulating solutions, and thermal and acoustical barriers for heat abatement and sound dampening applications. The Thermal Acoustical Solutions Segment offers a full line of innovative engineered products to assist in noise and heat abatement within the automotive and industrial markets. The business manufactures acoustical damping and thermal insulating solutions comprised of fiber and metal based composite product constructions. These products are typically found in the interior (dash insulators), underbody (wheel well, fuel tank, exhaust) and under hood (engine compartment) of passenger vehicles, heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles as well as in other industrial applications. The segment employs approximately ~1400 employees with operations in the U.S., Germany, France, and China.
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring proper inventory processes are followed and complete to support in a specific department or plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create production packets for each part number.
- Create labels for parts as production gets them completed.
- Verify parts, quantity and packaging are correct per control plan/work instructions then label bin/box.
- Make scrap transactions.
- Substitute material on jobs if using material other than called on BOM.
- Make labels for any partial bins/boxes and sub inventory transfer to partial location.
- Print Variance Report and review material variance.
- If variance is over /- $300 turn into FFM.
- Complete no charge production job
- Assist on production lines
Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Computer knowledge required.
- Good organization skills required.
- Good communication skills required (Verbal and written).
Preferred or Additional, Experience, Education, Skills and Abilities:
- Excel knowledge preferred.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Previous process experience.
- Forklift license.
- Oracle knowledge required.
- Inventory experience required.
