What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operator position at Lycored Corp?
Job purpose: Responsible for performing functions in the warehouse.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Provides forklift material-handling services for manufacturing department and receiving and shipping areas of the facility
- Ability to work with other employees under his section
- Shipping orders through UPS and FedEx
- Repack of 1kilo or more
- To adhere to cGMP and FSSC 22000 standards.
Skills and Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring that warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably, including shipping and receiving
- Knowledge in operating the warehouse forklifts
- Proceeds safely to assigned area to pull, load and move materials
- Ability to identify and transport material to and from storage areas
- Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material to and from designated areas within the facility
- Ability to keep track of all goods that are shipped to different purchasers
- Ability to keep track and receive items used in the manufacturing process
- Ability to lift heavy items or move large stacks with a forklift
- Responsible for checking shipments as they come into the company
- Responsible for checking damaged goods, record or process shipment making sure it goes to the appropriate recipient within the company
- Ability to coordinate shipping and customer delivery activities from the company’s shipping dock
- Prepares bill of landing for inter-warehouse transfers
Position Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma and/or Trade School Diploma. AA or BS Degree Preferred
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a FDA / cGMP manufacturing facility
- Skills: Computer knowledge, good organizational skills, good understanding of cGMP and FDA Regulations
Pay: $25.00 per hour
