Lycamobile is seeking a Law Clerk to join their Legal Team in Newark, NJ.The individual will report to the U.S. General Counsel.Position:The Law Clerk will provide essential support to the U.S. General Counsel, assisting with regulatory compliance and various operational legal functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to manage time effectively, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and submit responses to consumer complaints received from regulatory agencies (FCC, State AGs & PUCs etc.) and the BBB.Manage and process Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for company fleet vehicle drivers to ensure compliance with internal and insurance requirements.Assist with administration of leases for 20 office locations, including tracking key dates, and coordinating with landlords or property managers.Support enforcement efforts against unauthorized online sales on third party marketplaces.Conduct ad hoc legal research as assigned and handle miscellaneous legal and operational tasks assigned by attorneys or management. QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or law-related coursework preferred.1–3 years of relevant experience in a legal or compliance setting (law firm or corporate legal department).Strong research, writing, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.Strong work ethic and excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; familiarity with document management systems a plus; comfortable with learning new systems.
