Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented delivery driver to join our team. This role includes deliveries, customer interaction, and light shop support. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and comfortable working independently.

What You’ll Do

• Complete timely and accurate deliveries throughout the East Bay
• Represent Lyal Nickals with professionalism and a friendly attitude
• Ensure orders are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition
• Communicate clearly to resolve delivery issues when they arise
• Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable delivery vehicle
• Support the shop with light tasks and general upkeep as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Clear communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and staying on schedule
• Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and communication

Preferred Experience

• Previous delivery experience
• Familiarity with Castro Valley and East Bay routes
• Experience in customer-facing roles

Schedule

• Part-time hours
• Flexibility required during peak floral holidays and busy periods
