■ About the Role
The Accounting Senior Manager (Part Leader) is responsible for leading the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the accounting team, maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and corporate policies, and supporting strategic financial initiatives through process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate possesses extensive corporate accounting experience, strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
■ Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial records.
- Supervise the accounting team and provide technical guidance on accounting standards, new business initiatives, and complex financial transactions.
- Coordinate preliminary and year-end external audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and financial statements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages in compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, ASC 842, and IFRS 16.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities while maintaining compliance with corporate reporting deadlines.
- Perform headquarters financial reporting in accordance with corporate closing schedules and reporting guidelines.
- Conduct internal control assessments and support compliance with corporate policies, internal audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Drive process improvement and finance transformation initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
- Identify financial and operational risks and recommend solutions to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, IT, and other business functions to support business objectives and financial decision-making.
■ Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, public accounting, or audit-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, ASC 606, ASC 842, and IFRS 16.
- Experience leading accounting operations, financial reporting, and external audit processes.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial compliance, and corporate accounting practices.
- Experience driving finance transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Korean & English bilingual proficiency required.
