Duties

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including manual handling of equipment and supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience
• Manage guest flow and crowd control to maintain safety and order during events
• Support food service operations, including serving food and beverages when required
• Handle cash transactions accurately for ticketing or merchandise sales
• Respond promptly to guest needs or concerns, resolving conflicts professionally and efficiently
• Support emergency procedures by performing first aid or CPR when necessary and following safety protocols
• Conduct guest services activities such as guiding attendees, providing information, and assisting with special needs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards through regular inspections and adherence to policies
• Assist with public speaking duties during event programs or announcements when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in events management, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Experience working with children or in a resort environment is a plus
• Strong communication skills for public speaking and guest interaction
• Background in theater or food service can be advantageous for certain event types
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for PRN scheduling
